SENATOR SEAN RYAN SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR NEW YORK STATE SENATE VETERANS’ HALL OF FAME
BUFFALO – Today, July 17, 2023, New York State Senator Sean Ryan announced that his office is seeking nominations for the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame class of 2023. The Hall of Fame was established in 2005 to honor and recognize outstanding veterans from the Empire State who have distinguished themselves both in military and civilian life.
To be considered, an individual must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces residing in New York’s 61st State Senate District. The 61st District includes parts of the City of Buffalo, the City of Tonawanda, the Towns of Amherst, Grand Island, and Tonawanda, as well as the Villages of Kenmore and Williamsville.
To nominate a veteran for this honor, please submit a 350-word biography and a high-resolution photograph to ryan@nysenate.gov by Friday, August 18.
