Senator O'Mara joined WLEA's Brian O'Neil on the "Newsmaker" show on Tuesday, August 14th.
On today's show, Senator O'Mara highlights ongoing local concerns -- including public health and safety concerns, as well as extreme financial burdens -- surrounding New York's burgeoning migrant crisis. The senator is urging Upstate New York counties, cities, towns, and villages to enact local emergency orders in an effort to prevent Governor Hochul and New York City Mayor Eric Adams from relocating tens of thousands of migrants out of New York City to Upstate communities.
