Queens, NY - Senator James Sanders Jr. hosted a spectacular Women's History Month event at the Rochdale Village Ballroom in Jamaica, Queens, to honor the exceptional resilience, strength, and unwavering dedication of women in law enforcement.
The evening, held amidst the elegant ambiance of the Rochdale Village Ballroom, was a celebration filled with excitement and anticipation. Distinguished guests arrived dressed in elegant regalia, while women in law enforcement adorned celebratory costumes, adding a touch of sparkle to the occasion.
The event commenced with an electrifying opening charge delivered by Maryam Hubbard, Chairperson of the Community Relations Committee (CRC), followed by a heartfelt opening prayer by Yvonne A. Rankine of WHDC Christian Academy.
Senator Sanders, the gracious host, personally greeted each attendee, radiating genuine warmth and appreciation. His welcoming demeanor set a positive tone for the evening, fostering a sense of camaraderie among guests.
Entertainment took center stage as the NYPD Youth Dance Team delivered a captivating performance, energizing the crowd with their dynamic choreography. Speaker Andrienne Adams delivered a poignant speech, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of women in law enforcement and emphasizing their vital role in community safety.
Distinguished guests, including Melinda Katz, the esteemed District Attorney of Queens County, added to the evening's prestige, further highlighting the significance of the event.
