Senator Addabbo Partners With New York Cares for Annual Coat Drive
November 27, 2024
Senator Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. is partnering with New York Cares for their annual coat drive, aimed at providing warm clothing to those in need this winter season. The drive will run until December 23, 2024, allowing community members to donate gently used coats to help keep families across New York warm.
“Every winter, countless New Yorkers face the harsh cold without proper clothing,” Addabbo said. “By partnering with New York Cares, we are taking a proactive step to ensure that no one in our community must endure the winter without a warm coat. I encourage everyone to dig into their closets and donate what they can. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors.”
Coats can be dropped off Monday through Friday, during normal business hours 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Addabbo’s District Office, located at 84-16 Jamiaca Avenue in Woodhaven and at his Middle Village office, located at 66-85 73rd Place,
Donations will be collected and distributed to local shelters and families in need. For more information about the coat drive and how to participate, please contact Senator Addabbo’s office at 718-738-1111.
