Senator Kevin Parker Hosts Successful Shred Day Event

Brooklyn, N.Y. –In his continued efforts to curb identity theft by helping people safeguard their personal information from falling into the wrong hands, State Senator Kevin Parker recently hosted a Shred Day event in collaboration with AARP. The event aimed at promoting community awareness about the importance of secure document disposal saw an impressive turnout from residents eager to safeguard their personal information.
Senator Parker emphasized the significance of the event in bolstering community resilience against identity theft. "I am thrilled with the outcome of our partnership with AARP for organizing this impactful Shred Day event," stated Senator Parker. "Safeguarding our community's security is paramount and events like these play a crucial role in educating residents about secure document disposal."
Throughout the event participants were able to securely dispose of a wide array of confidential documents such as tax forms, insurance papers and legal documents. The service was provided free of charge thereby reinforcing Senator Parker’s dedication to combating identity theft and ensuring the well-being of residents.
