Statement on the Results of the 2024 Election

Yesterday, New Yorkers voted to permanently protect reproductive rights in our constitution-- an important first step in making sure that no matter what happens over the next four years, we are supporting our constituents, protecting our democracy and building better lives for all New Yorkers.

Starting today, we must fight even harder for affordable housing, healthcare coverage for all, and worker protections. We've got to fight hateful anti-immigrant rhetoric and protect the rights and dignity of every New Yorker. I'm honored to continue doing this work in the State Senate and to represent District 59.
