Senator Lea Webb Secures $25,000 for Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services (CARS)

Ithaca, NY – Today, Senator Lea Webb announced that she has secured $25,000 in state funds to enhance the vital services provided by Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services (CARS). This funding will support the organization’s efforts to offer comprehensive recovery services and individual counseling/treatment options to the community. 

"I am thrilled to deliver over $25,000 in state funds to support the important work of Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services,” said Senator Lea Webb. “Organizations like CARS are crucial in providing much-needed rehabilitation and recovery programs to our community. As a member of both the New York State Senate's Health Committee and Mental Health Committee, I am deeply committed to enhancing the resources available for addiction recovery services in my district. I deeply appreciate the providers and administrators at Cayuga Health for their dedicated service. I will continue to advocate for additional funding to expand access to these essential services to support individuals on their path to recovery.”
