Pintail Coffee Inc. has been named a finalist for this year’s Minority Business Award by the Business Council of New York State. The Farmingdale-based company is one of only five businesses across the state to be considered for the award, which will be presented during the council’s annual meeting on Sept. 19, 2024, at the Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing. New York State Sen. Monica R. Martinez nominated the philanthropic company, which donates 100% of its profits to fight hunger in local communities, for the award.
“Pintail Coffee Inc. exemplifies what it means to be a community-driven business, making an impact far beyond its roastery,” said Sen. Martinez. “The company’s commitment to donating all profits to hunger relief is a testament to the power of purpose-driven entrepreneurship. I am proud to have nominated it for this well-deserved recognition.”
Founded by a diverse group of minority immigrants led by Zaki Hossain, Pintail Coffee is a mission-driven company dedicated to ending hunger, one cup at a time. Locally roasted, ground, and packaged, each batch of Pintail’s high-quality Arabica beans is carefully crafted to deliver the perfect brew. Sourced responsibly from high-altitude farms across the globe, these beans not only produce a rich, full-bodied flavor but also support sustainable farming practices. For consumers committed to social good, every cup poured blends purpose with exceptional taste, contributing directly to the fight against hunger.
The Business Council of New York State, Inc., is the state’s leading business organization, representing a wide array of companies and associations. Established in 1980, the council advocates for a better business climate in New York, promoting economic growth and job creation while providing valuable resources and support to its members.
