Thousands of excited spectators came out this past Sunday for the 58th Annual Puerto Rican-Hispanic Day Parade in celebration of Hispanic history and heritage. The parade, which runs along Fifth Avenue in Brentwood and Bay Shore, attracted nearly 3,000 participants who walked, danced, or rode in decorated cars and floats along the route, including State Senator Monica R. Martinez and her team.
“The Puerto Rican-Hispanic Day Parade is a celebration of culture and shared experiences,” said Senator Martinez. “This annual tradition unites Long Island’s Hispanic communities in recognition of our rich heritage.”
