Senator Pam Helming recently attended the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester’s Pink and Teal Challenge 5k at Monroe Community College.
The Breast Cancer Coalition is the only full-scope, independently-operated organization focused on serving breast and gynecologic cancer survivors in Central and Western New York regions. Over 1000 participants attended this year’s 5k to show their support for the incredible work that the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester does for our community.
Senator Helming said “I was proud to help kick off the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester's Pink & Teal Challenge. The community turnout was incredible, showing support of the services and programs BCCR offers that provide hope to those facing some of the toughest moments in their lives. As State Senator, it is truly an honor to work with the Coalition. Thank you to Executive Director Christina Thompson and the entire BCCR team for all that you do."
