Senator Helming Honors Lucile Mallard Upon her Retirement from Ontario County Treatment Court

Senator Helming recently presented a New York State Senate Proclamation to Lucile Mallard upon her retirement as the Finger Lakes Misdemeanor Drug Treatment Court Resource Coordinator after 23 years of service.
In 2001, Lucile began her work with the Finger Lakes Drug Court. During her career, Lucile has been the recipient of numerous awards that include the New York State Governor’s African American of Distinction Award, Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes Sharing the Light Award, Martin Luther King Jr. Committee Community Service Heritage Award, Geneva Athena Award, Geneva Rotary Paul Harris Award, and an honorary degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges; each a reflection of Lucile’s unmatched character and contributions.
Senator Helming said, “Lucile has consistently lived her life as a leader, putting others first, listening and advocating for others. Lucile has long been a trusted voice in our community, and I was proud to honor her and her retirement. She leaves an indelible mark on the Unified Court System, the City of Geneva, Ontario County, and the Finger Lakes.”
