Senator Pam Helming Recognizes Livingston County’s Manilla Owen, Office for the Aging Older New Yorkers' Day Awardee

Senator Pam Helming presented a New York State Senate Citation to Livingston County’s Manilla Owen, who was recognized as an Office for the Aging Older New Yorker’s Day Awardee.
Since 2019, Manilla Owen has served as a compassionate hospice chaplain, offering invaluable support to patients and their families during challenging times. Her dedication and empathy have earned praise from the Hospice Director, who commends her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing comfort and guidance.
Senator Helming was proud to recognize Manilla for her inspiring work and thanks her for all that she has done for our community.
