During the hearings members of the Legislature’s fiscal committees will hear testimony from top Hochul administration officials, state agency heads, local leaders, and representatives of the wide range of stakeholders impacted by the state’s annual budget.
Albany, N.Y., February 7—State Senator Tom O'Mara (R,C--Big Flats), Ranking Member on the Senate Finance Committee, said that joint Senate-Assembly hearings on Governor Kathy Hochul’s proposed 2024-2025 New York State budget will continue on Thursday with a review of the governor's proposals for Higher Education.
