Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick Cosponsors Legislation to Create the 'No Hate NY' License Plate and 'No Hate NY Fund' to Support Hate Crime Awareness and Prevention Programs

There is no room for hate in Senate District 9. I am proud to represent a diverse community of people and because of that I am happy to cosponsor Senate Bill 1934, legislation that will introduce "No Hate NY" license plates. This will help raise funds for counties to implement hate crime prevention training and hate crime prevention awareness and prevention programs. This bill is an outward commitment to address the rising tide of hate across our state. The funds raised through the sale of these license plates will go directly to supporting vital hate crime awareness, prevention training, and educational programs across counties in New York.
