Join The Effort To Protect Our Community From Federal Policies

Over the past few days, there have been multiple reports about the housing of illegal migrants who are flooding our nation’s southern border.  While many of these reports have been unsubstantiated, the reality is that the federal border crisis is a cause of concern for our residents and it is time for the Biden Administration to solve this problem without adding to the burden our residents face.

Please join me to tell Governor Hochul that our communities are not willing to shoulder the burden of these ill-conceived policies by:

• Housing all illegal migrants who enter the country at federal facilities and not on SUNY campuses, on state parkland or in our communities.
• Rescinding the Sanctuary State status that was implemented under former Governor Andrew Cuomo

Our communities and our families did not create this mess and they should not have to shoulder the burden.  This is a federal matter and our residents deserve the federal government to step up to protect them from ill-conceived policies.
