Senator Parker helps Central Brooklyn Families Stay Safe by providing Free Flu Shots

Brooklyn, NY- Join State Senator Kevin Parker, and local business partners Progressive Community Center, Walgreens and Wellcare for the 8th Annual Free Flu Shots Day. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone aged six months and older get a flu vaccine every year. While there is little flu activity right now, flu activity is expected to increase in the coming weeks to months and the safety of Brooklyn Families is always a top priority for Senator Parker. Adults visitors to his District Office 18 years and older will be administered vaccines on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, to receiving FREE Flu and Pneumonia vaccines, residents will have an opportunity to meet with Representatives from the Office of the New York State Comptroller’s Office of Unclaimed Funds to help them search for lost money.
