ABINANTI -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT mandating that the public service commission require every elec- tric and telecommunications corporation and association to submit their reports to the commission pursuant to a proceeding of the commission to evaluate a standardized facility and equipment transfer program THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Pursuant to the jurisdiction granted by paragraphs b and d of subdivision 1 of section 5 of the public service law, the public service commission shall require every electric and telecommunications corporation and association to submit their reports to the commission pursuant to a proceeding of the commission to evaluate a standardized facility and equipment transfer program within ninety days of the effec- tive date of this act. The commission shall establish such program on or before June first, two thousand twenty-two. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. ABINANTI -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions -- recommitted to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions in accordance with Assembly Rule 3, sec. 2 -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT mandating that the public service commission examine a process for streamlining actions relating to identifying and removing certain utility poles THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The public service commission shall initiate a proceeding to examine a process for streamlining actions relating to identifying and removing utility poles that do not have any attachments and are no longer in use. Every pole owner shall submit information related to such poles and other relevant information at the request of the public service commission. On or before September thirtieth, two thousand twen- ty-three, the public service commission shall issue an order adopting the new or revised rules associated with the matters examined in the proceeding provided for in this act. § 2.
