Padavan Hosts Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Workshop

New York State Senator Frank Padavan (Queens) joined with the Community Prevention Alternatives for Families in Crisis in presenting a domestic violence awareness workshop at the Poppenhusen Institute in College Point. The “Stop the Violence-See Something, Say Something” program focuses and increases awareness and prevention of domestic violence in our community. The workshop included domestic violence assessments and the formulations of domestic violence safety plans. Senator Padavan joins with Community Prevention Alternatives for Families in Crisis during their domestic violence awareness and prevention workshop at the Poppenhusen Institute on Saturday afternoon May 30, 2009
