State Legislators Hold Public Hearing on Governor Patterson's Proposed Budget

New York State Legislators representing constituents who reside in the lower Hudson Valley—will be holding a public hearing on Governor Paterson’s proposed New York State Budget on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Suffern Free Library, located at 210 Lafayette Avenue in Suffern, New York 10901. Senator Thomas P. Morahan, Assemblywoman Nancy Calhoun, Assemblywoman Ellen C. Jaffee, Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt and Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski are inviting constituents and/or stakeholders who live in the towns of Tuxedo and Warwick in Orange County, and Clarkstown, Haverstraw, Orangetown, Ramapo and Stony Point in Rockland County to the hearing. Anyone seeking to give testimony at the hearing needs to schedule speaking time in advance (which will be limited to a maximum of three minutes).
