Miranda McGeary
Miranda McGeary was born at Long Island College Hospital on October 9, 2004. She is a warm and loving five-year-old who is intuitive and curious. Miranda has two adoring and supportive parents who encourage her ambition and desire to succeed, and quench her thirst for knowledge about all things.
Miranda attended preschool at Highlight Academy and pre-kindergarten at P.S. 161, where she received numerous awards for perfect attendance and high-level reading. She now attends Achievement First, Crown Heights, where she continues to receive awards for outstanding behavior and homework. She enjoys reading, art, and attending Sunday School every week.
Miranda also participates in dancing at Mark Morris Dance and Creative Outlet and running and swimming at the YMCA. Finally, Miranda’s love of reading is one of the reasons she was a participant in the Summer Reading Challenge (a summer reading program for gifted readers) with State Assemblyman William Colton and State Senator Eric Adams.
Congratulations, Miranda!
