ADDABBO’S RECYCLING DAY YIELDS BONANZA OF EYEGLASSES & BOOKS FOR TWO LOCAL PROGRAMS

On October 15, NYS Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., dropped off 305 eyeglasses collected at his September 30 Recycling Day for Pearle Vision’s OneSight Foundation (a family of global charitable programs) at its Ozone Park vision center.  Over a week earlier, the senator had dropped off the boxes of books collected on Recycling Day with the Howard Beach Kiwanis for re-sale during their annual book sale held outside Waldbaum’s on Cross Bay Boulevard during the October 6 and 7 weekend.
