Lower Taxes + Balanced Budgets = More Jobs

Before Andrew Cuomo became our Governor and Lee Zeldin became our Senator, Albany raised taxes by $14 billion and increased state spending by $14 billion in 2009 and 2010.

Partnering with Governor Cuomo, Senator Zeldin helped pass two on-time budgets that closed a $13 billion budget deficit by cutting spending, instead of creating new taxes.

By controlling wasteful spending, Senator Zeldin was able to cut state income taxes on middle income families to the lowest level in 50 years.

Senator Zeldin also capped local property taxes for overburdened homeowners.
