Leader Stewart-Cousins accepting the "Most Coordinated Boat" award from Governor Andrew Cuomo on Sunday, July 20th following the Adirondack Challenge, with Senator Gianaris and Senate Democratic Conference staffers. As she accepted the award, the Leader said, "We are all ambassadors for Upstate." The Adirondack Challenge highlights the summer tourism opportunities in the region, including outdoor activities such as rafting and fly fishing. The event, held in Indian Lake this year, attracted elected officials, tourism industry leaders and summer enthusiasts to Upstate New York.
