(Jamaica, Queens) On Saturday, April 5^th, State Senator Tony Avella served as the Grand Marshal for the Queens Center for Progress (QPC) annual 5K walk for people with developmental disabilities.

Queens Centers for Progress has been committed to providing person-centered services and support to children and adults who have developmental disabilities. The annual 5K walk began at the Queens Center for Progress Adult Center in Jamaica and continue to Kissena Park. The participants then walked back to the Adult Center.
