Interested in politics, public policy, business, or communications? Interning in Senator David Carlucci's office can be a great way to learn about all these fields, while experiencing an exciting opportunity in government. Students in high school or college will learn about how our state government functions, how legislation is passed, and how to help resolve constituent problems and concerns. There are also opportunities for students to learn about event planning, funding for non-profits, and digital communications. Internships for college credit are available for the winter semester, and the application deadline is on January 22nd. Students with strong GPA's who participate in extracurricular activities are encouraged to apply.
Students can apply by filling out the application attached and emailing it to Internship Coordinator, Dan Cohen at dcohen@nysenate.gov.
