'Tis the Season of Giving

‘Tis the Season of Giving! Very pleased to announce that we received a record number of donations this year for our annual holiday “Sock Drive” and “Cell Phones for Soldiers” collections. I would also like to make special note of one, particularly generous benefactor from East Islip. They wish to remain anonymous but donated over $4,000 worth of toys to our office which were distributed to families in need this holiday season. The generosity of our many contributors is truly heartening and is making a positive difference in our community. And to finish out our annual ‘Tis the Season of Giving, last week we partnered with the East Islip Fire Department to hold a successful Blood Drive through Long Island Blood Services! I’d like to again thank everyone who donated this holiday as our ‘Tis the Season for Giving comes to a close. The socks will be going to Pronto of Long Island and the toys to Youth Enrichment Services and Pronto for distribution to those who may be struggling.
