“With New York’s blood supply facing critical shortages, I am once again calling on the community to make a lifesaving donation and help their fellow Long Islanders in their time of need,” said Senator Anthony Palumbo. “Our last blood drive was a great success, collecting over 39 pints of blood which can go on to help the lives of up to 117 people. With the community’s continued support, I am confident we can help even more New Yorkers.”
