Senator Rachel May hosted several environmental organizations at the New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry for her first Green Resource Fair. The goal was to raise awareness and inspire change toward a more sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle by providing a platform for the community to learn about the latest sustainable technologies, eco-friendly products and network with like-minded individuals, businesses, and organizations.
The fair showcased a variety of activities and demonstrations that are fun, engaging, and educational. Participants learned ways to save money on energy usage, various means of recycling or composting, and other sustainable living practices. With interactive exhibits and displays, the event was an excellent opportunity to engage with experts in the field and learn more about how to reduce carbon footprints and protect the environment.
