Deadly Driving Rally for Change

Drugged driving is a growing and deadly problem on Long Island and throughout New York State. To make our streets and highways safer, law enforcement and prosecutors need enhanced tools to meet the challenges and dangers that new and designer drugs pose.
Senate Bill S.3135 updates and modernizes New York's laws for driving while impaired by drugs to meet these new challenges and make our roads safer.
As a co-sponsor of Senate Bill S.3135, I was proud to stand with Suffolk County DA, Ray Tierney, advocates, law enforcement and my Senate and Assembly colleagues to promote this legislation that will protect residents from drugged drivers.
