MUCH ADO ABOUT FISH
State Sen. Liz Krueger sent letters to city and state health commissioners regarding President George W. Bush’s changes to the Food and Drug Administration’s recommendations on fish consumption. The proposed changes would amend the advisory that pregnant women and children should limit the amount of fish consumed. These so-called midnight changes were proposed as Bush winds down his presidency, and will last into the next administration.
