Senator Golden’s Summer Concerts Series Ready to Rock and Roll

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District), along with the South West Brooklyn Parks Task Force and CERT1NYC (Community Emergency Response Team), today announced the 2010 Concerts in the Park lineup, a series of concerts and events, set to take place in local parks throughout the Summer.
“The parks will again be alive with music, crowds, and good times this Summer. We have a great series ahead of us that include some of the finest local bands that will surely entertain all, including Risky Business, The Rockinghams, Disco Unlimited, Brooklyn Keys, Generation Gap, Frankie Marra & His Band, and Carl Thomas. So mark your calendar, bring a lawn chair, and make your way to our parks and enjoy the shows,” said Senator Marty Golden.
The concert schedule is as follows:
July 13 Head Over Heels & JGB Band (Dance Party and Rock) 79th St & Shore Rd.
July 14 NY Exceptions (Oldies 50's - 60's) Marine Park (Fillmore Ave)
July 20 Risky Business (Oldies 60’s and 70’s) 79 th St & Shore Road
July 21 The Rockinghams (Best of the 60’ & British Rock) Marine Park (Fillmore Ave)
July 27 Disco Unlimited (Best of the 70’s Disco) 79 th St & Shore Road
July 28 City Sounds (Old & New Dance) Marine Park (Fillmore Ave)
Aug 10 Brooklyn Keys (Oldies & Disco) Dyker Park (86th St & 14th Ave)
Aug 11 Generation Gap (Dance Music) Marine Park (Fillmore Ave)
Aug 17 Frankie Marra & His Band (Top 40 Classic Rock Party Band) 79 th St & Shore Road
Aug 18 Carl Thomas (Best of Sinatra, Darren, Martin) Marine Park (Fillmore Ave)
Aug 24 Family Day (Rides, games, karaoke & more) McKinley Park (75 th St & Ft Ham Pkwy)
