“Today we honor and remember those who gave their lives in defense of our freedom.

Generations of American soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines have fought, and are still fighting, to protect our country from tyranny and terror. Many never returned home, having given their lives in service to our nation. All of these heroes deserve our respect and gratitude.

As we enjoy spending time with family and friends this Memorial Day, may each of us take time to remember the men and women who died defending our freedom. We owe it to these heroes to always honor, and never forget, their supreme sacrifice.”
