Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently visited Berner Middle School in Massapequa to thank students and staff for once again participating in his “Extend the Holidays” toy drive.
“Extend the Holidays” is an annual toy drive that Senator Fuschillo organizes for the benefit of children in Winthrop Hospital’s Pediatric Center. The new, unwrapped toys collected by Berner Middle School’s students and staff will be delivered to Winthrop after New Year’s Day so that children of all ages can experience the joys of receiving a new toy after the holiday season and throughout the year.
“I really appreciate Berner’s students and staff once again participating in this program. Their hard work will help put smiles on the faces of many children who are in need of a little extra cheer,” said Senator Fuschillo.
