Senator Carlucci Calls on Students to Submit Entries for Earth Day Contest

Nanuet, NY (March 6, 2012) – Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Orange) today reminded local students to submit their entries by March 9, 2012 for the New York State Senate’s Earth Day Poster Contest.  This year, Senator Carlucci and the entire New York State Senate is sponsoring a poster contest for children in grades K-6.  The theme of the Earth Day celebration is “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.”

The winning posters will be displayed on Senator Carlucci’s website and the participants will receive a certificate acknowledging their participation.  Schools wishing to participate in this year’s event must submit their entry at www.nysenate.gov/earthday2012.
