Unsightly 80th Street Bridge Now Free of Graffiti and Trash in Response to Recent Local Complaints
Queens, NY, September 17, 2012
Photo Caption: On Saturday, September 15, after 2 weeks of logging constituent complaints, Senator Joe Addabbo’s Middle Village office staff and the local 104th NYPD precinct joined forces to clean up the 80th Street bridge near the Atlas Park Mall in Glendale. Addabbo’s office supplied the paint, gloves, brushes, trash bags, and the precinct supplied the power washer to remove the graffiti blight on the barrier and handrails and pick up the trash from the pedestrian walkway.
Pictured in front, wearing NYPD shirt and working the power washer, is P.O. Justin Dambinskas of the local 104th Precinct. In background, wearing a yellow hat, is Senator Addabbo’s "hands-on" constituent liaison, Alex Maureau.
