Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) would like to share with your some important information for our fun loving communities. Brooklyn Academy of Music is a wonderful resource for shows and events without having to travel to Manhattan.
Local colleges are a good place to look as well, Kingsborough Community College, Brooklyn College and St. Francis College all put on inexpensive shows in our borough. It is not just our colleges providing this opportunity, Poly Prep Country Day School is another place to look.
Brooklyn One Theater Company, the Brooklyn Public Library, Narrows Community Theater and BRIC “Celebrate Brooklyn!” are local organizations that put on shows.
