Martin J. Golden

March 20, 2013

Brooklyn - State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) tonight

is applauding Captain Richard DiBlasio and the officers of the 68th

Precinct upon their arrest of an individual for a home burglary in

Dyker Heights.

"The 68th Precinct has done it again. I commend our Captain, our

Detectives and our Police Officers who have tonight, arrested an

individual wanted in connection with the recent home invasions in

Dyker Heights.

I have been in constant contact with the 68th Precinct and have been

assured throughout their investigation that they were taking this

string of robberies very seriously and were looking to put an end to

this as quickly as possible.

We remain a safe community, with crime down 13% this year, and we

continue to appreciate and respect the law enforcement work of the men

and women of the 68th Precinct. We will not tolerate these criminal

acts in our community.

I trust we will see justice served on behalf of the victims who have

been violated by this criminal. Keeping out streets safe and feeling

secure in our neighborhood is so important to being able to enjoy a

truly good quality of life.”
