(Bronx, NY) - Senator Serrano marched in the annual Bronx Dominican Day Parade, which took place along the Grand Concourse, south from East Tremont Avenue to East 167th Street in the Bronx. The parade, which is widely attended by thousands of people across all nationalities, honors and celebrates the history and culture of the Dominican people.
"This year's parade was bigger and better than ever!" said Senator Serrano. "The warm and sunny weather was a perfect backdrop for this festival of Dominican pride and culture. I was proud and honored to march in this parade and enjoyed the wonderful sights and sounds of Dominican culture. Many thanks to all the spectators who lined the Grand Concourse to cheer us on!" concluded Serrano.
Senator Serrano marched in the parade along with his father, Congressman José E. Serrano, in addition to community leaders, elected officials, union members, performers and thousands of cheering residents along the Grand Concourse.
