Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) and Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-C-I, Brooklyn/Staten Island), will host a press conference on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at 11:30 a.m., at the Fort Hamilton Senior Center, 9941 Fort Hamilton Parkway, to bring awareness of the new and improved access a ride service, and encourage senior and disable citizens to apply for it to meet their transportation needs.
Southwest Brooklyn is home to one of the largest senior populations in the City of New York, and recent information brought forth at a public hearing, highlighted the need for more information about this New York City Transit Authority service to be made available.
