(Albany, NY) -- Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) has been appointed Chair of the Senate’s Consumer Protection Committee he announced today.
“Any business, utility or corporation that takes advantage of its consumers is put on notice that scams and injustice will not be tolerated. Making sure that consumers and businesses have an honest relationship is critical for economic success and I will use every asset at my disposal to protect the interests of consumers throughout New York,” Carlucci stated.
Carlucci plans on conducting hearings in the Hudson Valley as well as other parts of the state to fight for practical solutions on behalf of all consumers.
