State Senator James Sanders Jr. said: “The blue wave of Democratic wins following yesterday’s election, does not bode well for the GOP. Losing Republican strongholds in Nassau and Westchester counties is a testament to the repudiation of President Trump and is likely to continue as he shows off his narcissistic and authoritarian personality. The blue wave of change will likely become a tidal wave as more and more people demand change and Republicans realize that their only avenue is to either repudiate Trump or be repudiated themselves. It is a harbinger for the 2018 elections of the federal and state senate, and that is good news.”
