BROOKLYN, NY (11/23/16 – On Tuesday, November 21, State Senator Kevin Parker hosted his Annul Turkey Drive at Vanderveer Park United Methodist Church in Brooklyn. In partnership with Metro Plus, Key Fresh, Natural Avenue H, and the office of New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, Senator Parker provided over 300 turkeys to residents across Central Brooklyn.
Senator Kevin Parker takes pride in being able to accommodate and provide tangible resources families throughout his community. “Thanksgiving is a very important time of year for families to come together in fellowship. The cost of food can be burdensome for some families, so it is crucial that I do my part as an elected official to ensure every home has the essentials to have a happy and joyous Thanksgiving holiday,” concluded Parker.
