“In light of the disturbing allegations and resignation of Eric Schneiderman, the legislature should appoint a woman to be our states’ next attorney general. After over 240 years of men as our leading law enforcement officer, it is clear that a women’s voice in the Attorney General’s office is desperately needed at this time. Doing so would send a message to all New Yorkers, and to our nation that we are a state that values fairness and respect of all of its residents.”
