9/11 Ceremonies In Our Region
August 31, 2021
This year, our nation commemorates the 20th Anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. As we stood together united on that fateful day 20 years ago, we all stated with no ambiguity that we would never forget!
Throughout that time, we have joined year after year to honor those who were lost during those horrific attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and on the flights that were in the air. We have come together annually to show the families of those who were lost that their nation remembers and continues to stand with them. And we have united every September 11th to show those who attacked us that we stand stronger when we are united.
On this 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the priority must be to remain as united today as we were in 2001 and to show our allies and our adversaries that America stands together.
Below are some of the commemorative events that will be happening in our region and I invite everyone to join with our community to show that the togetherness of September 11, 2001 lives on today. We must never forget what occurred two decades ago and we must always show our strength to the rest of the world.
