Senators Mattera And Palumbo Join SCPD For Coffee With A Cop In Coram

Senators Mario R. Mattera (2nd Senate District) and Anthony Palumbo (1st Senate District) are joining with Suffolk County Police Department’s Sixth Precinct to host a special event in Coram to bring the community and law enforcement together. The Coffee With Cops event will take place on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 2021, from 11 am to 1 pm at The Breakthrough Chapel, which is located at 3723 Route 112 in Coram.
During this event, the community is invited to stop by for a free cup of coffee and to meet with officers from the Sixth Precinct.
The event is dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and our community. In addition to police officers, Senator Mattera and Senator Palumbo will be available to discuss public safety and criminal justice issues.
“Our police officers and our residents must work together to build a stronger community community and I am proud to join with my colleague Senator Palumbo to help foster a constructive dialogue. The Coffee With A Cop program is a great way to engender trust and create a cohesive approach to how best to keep all of our families safe. I thank the Suffolk County Police Department for creating this program so that we can all join together to build a strong foundation to move forward and I look forward to this important and helpful meeting,” stated Senator Mattera.
