Senator Thomas congratulates local graduates of 210th Session of NYS Police Academy Basic School

(Garden City, NY) — State Senator Kevin Thomas (D-Levittown) today congratulated all of the 227 graduates from the 210th session of the New York State Police Academy's Basic School and singled out for special recognition the seven graduates from the following hometowns within his 6th Senate District: Garden City, Levittown, West Hempstead, and East Meadow.
The graduation ceremony was held earlier today at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.
Thomas congratulated and praised the following local graduates among the newest members of the New York State Police:
> Trevor J. Aquino of Garden City
> Michael A. Casella of Levittown
> Alexander B. Driver-Benjamin of Levittown
> Joseph T. Gonong of Levittown
> Chevon J. Holloway of West Hempstead
> Richard P. Pellegrino of East Meadow
“As graduates of the prestigious New York State Police Academy, these graduates will serve as proud State Troopers, adding to a distinguished legacy of courage, integrity and service,” Thomas said. “Their achievements are an enormous source of pride for our Long Island community. I thank them for their continued dedication to the State Police and the people of New York, and wish them all the best of luck in the years ahead.”
