Senator Mattera Joins Western Beef To Help Heros 4 Our Heroes Honor Veterans

Senator Mario R. Mattera (2^nd Senate Distict) joined together with Western Beef to deliver $1,500 in vouchers to Heros 4 Our Heroes to assist the annual “Turkeys For Our Heroes” event.  The vouchers were donated to the charity by Western Beef to enable Panico’s Community Market’s Donato Panico and the volunteers at Heros 4 Our Heroes to acquire and deliver turkeys to our veterans for Thanksgiving.

“Thanks to the great work of Debbie in my office and the leadership of Western Beef, Heros 4 Our Heroes will now have a better ability to show our veterans how important they are.  Our brave veterans deserve to have a great holiday and I thank Donato and all who join him in the effort for all they do to make the holidays brighter for the men and women who have served our nation,” stated Senator Mattera.  “God bless our veterans and God bless the United States of America.

Heros 4 Our Heroes will be delivering the turkeys on a first-come, first-served basis at the Northport VA Medical Center in Northport on Saturday, November 19^th from 11 am to 1 pm.
