ALBANY, NY - The Governor has nominated Associate Judge Rowan Wilson to serve as Chief Judge and has put forth Caitlin Halligan for the potentially vacant Associate Judge position. The Senate is committed to fulfilling its mandate to fill judicial positions, recognizing the significant impact these decisions have on New Yorkers for years to come. 

Recognizing the crucial role that our courts play in safeguarding our fundamental rights, the Senate will continue our process to evaluate the credentials of the nominated candidates.
