Senator Webb Honors William H Construction with the NYS Senate Empire Award for Business Excellence

Binghamton, NY – Senator Lea Webb presented the New York State Senate's Empire Award to Mr. William Durham, founder and owner of William H Construction. The Empire Award, the highest honor bestowed by the State Senate on businesses and organizations, recognizes leaders in their field who have made significant contributions to their communities.
Mr. Durham, a graduate of Union-Endicott, began his journey in construction with a focus on flooring, gradually expanding his expertise to include roofing and the full spectrum of carpentry work. From minor repairs to extensive renovations and additions, he thrives on the diversity of projects he undertakes. As a dedicated local tradesman, he is carving his path in the construction industry. In 2014, he established his award-winning construction company in downtown Binghamton and works on projects across the Southern Tier. Leading a crew of skilled individuals, Mr. Durham has witnessed consistent growth, fueled by referrals, repeat business, and his recent certification as a Minority-Owned Business Enterprise by New York State. This certification has unlocked a plethora of new opportunities, enabling the company to bid on projects previously beyond reach.
