“I love the job of being a strong and outspoken voice for the people as a state Senator.  I've always said that the most important part of this representative democracy is not the elected officials and those in government, it's the people we have the high honor and privilege to represent. As a new legislative session begins, I'm ready to work, as I’ve always done, in a bipartisan fashion to help turn this economy around and make our state a more affordable and safer place to live and work so we can get New York on the right track again.”

The 44th Senate District includes all of Saratoga County, Niskayuna and the City of Schenectady.
